Today was an exciting day for the PENN crew! We had a teleprompt arrive from Australia! Since covid has stopped us being able to film indoors, we have found it challenging to read from a script as we have to hold the laptop up above the camera. We had our first go filming today using the teleprompt, which reflects the script directly in front of the camera!
Here we were trying it out while the camera wasn't rolling.
Lesson learned from today: The glass needs to be TOTALLY smudge-free before we begin filming to insure the image is clear and blemish free.
We look forward to having this as part of our set up from now on!
What a brilliant addition to the PENN team. I remember using an Apple product back in the last millenium, but nothing would beat having a professional tele prompt. Enjoy this next level of sophistication. This is long overdue :)
