Year 5 and 6 Camp 2020!
What an awesome 3 days of camp we have just had! Last week, 120 year 5 and 6 children camped for 2 nights on our school field in tents! During the three days of camp, we took part in a range of fun activities which helped us learn how to work as a team and build our confidence! Here are some photos from our camp:

ReplyDeletethe last 3 days it was so cool.On friday we went to the mangre pool.It was the year 5 and 6 camp every morning there would me a alarm that went on the speaker and we had to wake up and go to the hall for jump jam.The sunset was so pretty every morning.I hope you give a great comment.

ReplyDeletewow i rember that it was the coolest it was big and there was a boming pool on the top of the hill (you can"t see it but it is there) you know that circle that is a good spot to chill that was the best pool i went to in my life
ReplyDeleteI liked the way that all the teachers had a had to work so hard they were so Fast at cooking and they even at the morning we woke up very early and went to do Just Dance at the night we had a cool Dance and the must good one was the piwakwak from meliame

ReplyDeleteHi room 10 I see you had an amazing camp aseptically kayaking.That means you had so much fun but I know that you had to wake up so so early because I came to camp just like all of you that went to camp and didn't you have to sleep in tents diffidently not comfortable.
ReplyDeleteYear 5 and 6 Camp was awesome! The food was tasty, the teachers were kind, and especially Mr Goodwin's smile (Mr Goodwin was our camps host). All of the activities were great, personally I liked the kayaking activity most. One problem was when we went to sleep at night and it was freezing! I remembered that my buttcheecks were frozen. But over all of it camp was amazing!
ReplyDeleteHi miss west last week was a lovely day and it was so so so so so so so so fun at camp.The game that i liked was killing zone.And i can't wait to go camp next year.
ReplyDeleteon camp day all the year 5 and 6 camp groups had to line up in there camp lines. first my team group had to get dressed into there swimming togs. Next we walked down to the slip and slide and had some fun. It was really fun but it was time to go and have morning tea so we walked back to the big tent to eat our lunch.
ReplyDeleteHi Miss West, I liked it at camp too it was really really fun. My favourite thing that we did was kayaking and the Mangere pools. I can't wait to go camp next year. Thank you to everyone that helped at camp.
ReplyDeleteTalofa lava my name is Amira. My favourite thing at camp was kayaking because I did not know how to kayak and I was so anxious, it looked really difficult. But the seniors taught me how to do it. Also I loved sleeping but we had to wake up so early and run to the hall. But I really love the food it was very yum.

year 5 and 6 camp was awesome!!! especially sleeping in my tent with my room mate thanks to the office ladies for making all of the delicious food thanks to all our team leaders they were so helpful i really liked the last day of camp because we got to go to the Mangere pools thanks to all the teaches and parents that were there to help especially the that where there to watch us thank you from tumanako\
