Today at assembly, Mr Burt shared a new korero. The korero for the week is Smart Footprint. Mr Burt asked us to think about the digital footprint that we leave behind when we are online. As part of this, he asked us to think about the photo that represents us on our google accounts.
Here is the video he shared:
He finished the korero with a quote by Doris A. Wright: “The future lies before you, like a field of fallen snow; Be careful how you tread it, for every step will show.”
How are you ensuring that your digital footprint is a good representation of you, your whānau and your community?

Assembly on Google Hangouts
Today we held our second Pt England School Assembly via Google hangouts (aka Google meet). Jahzara and Toby, our school Rangatahi, led us in the karakia and mihi.
This is a great way we are able to stay connected as a community during this time we are all in lockdown. Last week's assembly drew a crowd of more than 200. How many do you think took part in this week's assembly??
